What a great property!!! My family had the time of their lives. We will defiantly be back. The rooms were spotless, the pools were clean and the view was breath taking. What a great place to stay. In walking distance to the new Pier park which has Margaretville and Ron Jon surf shop and a movie theater. You cant go wrong. Great location and great property.

We loved being a few steps from the most beautiful beach we have been to and then just a few steps from an awesome, fun shopping/dining/entertainment plaza next door! Pier Park is amazing! Margaretville and the Haufbrau House (authentic German beer garten) were our favorite eating places, but the kids loved 5 Guys and a Cheeseburger. Plus, Dillards and Penny's and a huge movie plex! We have stayed at a few of the new resorts at Panama Beach, Fla. but the Calypso has the most to offer so far re gorgeous views, awesome pool/tiki bar and location! We also loved the Gulf World Aquarium and Zoo just a few blocks away. It doesn't look that great on the outside but we visited on a "rainy" day and loved it; educational and fun! Thank you. Awesome Stay
We stayed at the Calypso Resort April 2008. The resort is well maintained and beautiful. The rooms are clean and spacious with newer appliances. Views are awesome no matter where you are. Keep in mind this is a condo and NOT a hotel. Bring your own dish soap, garbage bags, etc. There is NO Maid Service. Towels and linens were quality. Chair rentals on the beach were free and plentiful(although we were there during a slow week). Check-in was efficient and the staff was courteous. Free DVD rentals too. Wouldn’t change a thing!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Shop for food at the local Wal Mart to save money on having to dine out often.

Great View, would stay there again
Had a great view of the beach, the pool an beach area were great. Didn’t like you couldn’t charge to your room and there was no room service. Had everything you would want in a small apartment, nice kitchen, great bathroom and very comfortable bed.

Right near the hotel a new mall Pier Park is up and running. Easy walk and a lot of shopping and food.

Awesome Accommodations
Just returned from staying at the Calypso on March 30th 2008. Awesome place. One of the best places my family has stayed out of years of visiting Florida. The staff is extremely friendly. There is a Tiki bar between 2 pools and in front of the Gulf. Very relaxing atmosphere. No complaints. Definitely will return to these accommodations.

Stay was wonderful
My husband and I stayed at the Calypso in August and we had a very nice time. The rooms were well appointed and cozy making us feel like we were at home. We had a great view of the gulf and we went during a less crowded season so we had no problems getting beach chairs. The only down side is that we couldn’t check in early but we made good use of the time while we waited. Other than that, we would recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely plan to stay here again for our next trip back to PCB.

Plenty of activities for families such as put-put, go cart racing, museums, etc.

We just spent 5 days and enjoyed every minute. The room was clean and comfortable, great balcony view, kitchen stocked nicely.... felt like home! Pool and beach great! Employees courteous and helpful. We highly recommend!!! We will be back.

My husband and I stayed in a 1br 1 1/2 bath June 2007. Our stay and the condo was a 10! We had not been to Panama City in about 15 years, we had no desire to go back. We stayed at Calypso because it was new and there was a special. We just made reservations to go back this June w/our adult children, (in a separate condo.) . Panama City is changing to an upscale vacation destination. Not the run down PC we used to know. Calypso has Great Condo's!

“Beautiful condo with a great view!”
This place was the best place I have ever stayed. The condo was roomy and very romantic! The decor was very up to date and the condo was extremely clean. We had a beautiful ocean front view from the bedroom and living room. Staff was very friendly. The amenities included were also nice. Free DVD rentals, and free beach chair rentals were included. I was very impressed and will go back next year. I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends!
“Incredible stay at Calypso!”
When booking, you think this is just another condo resort but when you stay there, you realize just how incredible the experience really is! We had a 2 BR condo which worked well with the kids and was a great price- There was great personal attention after we checked in to make sure we hade everything we needed, and our questions were answered promptly. The location and commercial development/ activities/ restaurants around the resort area make this a great place to stay now and the future! We definitely plan to return!

This was a great place to spend a vacation.
The room was beautiful and the view was incredible. Included with the room were 2 lounges and an umbrella on the beach and 2 free DVD rentals per day.
The Calypso Cafe is located a short distance from the parking garage. It is a good close by place to eat, the Bar has an outside area with live entertainment in the evenings.
There is a target and a brand new theater located close by and the rest of a large shopping area. This will be a great location!!
I can't wait to go back!
“Loved the Calypso!!”
My family and I enjoyed 5 days at the Calypso. We were very pleased with what we found. The resort was exactly like the pictures. We had a 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo - very nice - almost too nice for the beach. There is plenty enough room so everyone can relax. The beds were soft, the only place we have stayed that seemed like home. Kids enjoyed the free DVD rentals. The beach chairs and umbrella was great also. We will definitely visit again.
“Waterstone Calypso - perfect family accommodations!”
We just returned from our first family trip to Panama City Beach with our 3 daughters, ages 12, 10 and 6. This property was awesome and well worth the price! The staff was great and the accommodations were perfect. Super clean, nicely decorated condo with luxurious king size bed, bunk beds and sleeper sofa. Separate bath for the parents and children. Fully equipped kitchen with full-sized appliances, ocean-front balcony. Washer and dryer a huge plus. Wasn't a thing we could have needed that wasn't provided. The kids loved the free DVDs available to borrow. Far enough off the strip that despite sharing the area with tens of thousands of coeds, you couldn't even tell it was Spring Break at this property. We'll be back!
“Top Notch!”
Everything about our trip was top notch. The check in process was easy, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They offer free DVD rental, two at a time for the duration of your stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Every room has a gorgeous view, large kitchens, comfy furniture, high quality bedding, washers and dryers, basically anything anyone could ever want. There are two large pools, free chair rental, and the beach is clean and well cared for. We could not have had a better time at the Calypso. Plus, it was reasonably priced!!

We have taken many vacations and stayed at many different places. This was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. The property is breath taking. The staff was wonderful. We are looking forward to spending a month there in the fall of this year.
This is a family friendly resort that truly made us feel at home.
